Those with myopia see near objects clearly but far away objects appear blurred. Interesting, when discussing current world events related to prophetic fruition. I was told that most people have a Myopic view of events that have yet to occur. Well that actually makes perfect sense and I think that God intends for us to see future events unravel in that manor. It is a natural method of perception, you witness current events that are mentioned in scripture thousands of years ago happen in real time on the news and dismiss them as sheer coincidence. But as soon as you mention further prophecy about events that will occur as a result of that supposed current coincidence all of a sudden it becomes absurd. I find that amusing, lets fail to state the obvious, mankind is in trouble globally on a scale that we have never seen in ALL OF HISTORY. That is called denial folks: Here is what God has to say of mans mental position and further reaffirms what I see as most peoples perception when I start to talk about current events in light of scripture.
2Pe 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
2Pe 3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
1Th 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
God knew in advance, Mans state of mind in the end times and mentioned it in the Bible thousands of years ago. I wonder if that was coincidence?
Are you sure you want to be on that side of the argument? OH Its gonna happen and He is not coming to bring peace and love folks, read your Bible “you know that nagging 4000 yr old bunch of words” that mankind has been trying to eradicate since the beginning of time. Yeah that book. Jesus Christ is coming back to take the Kingdom lost through adam and eves transgression and He is a Little PISSED.. Look at the mess we have made of this beautiful planet and how we treat each other its disgusting and no surprise He needs to wipe it out and start over.
