Hey brothers and sisters. Do pray out loud every chance you get? When you are charitable do you tell everyone? What’s your Motive or intent? Time to weigh it against the BOOK. Doing Alms is giving something (such as money or food) freely to relieve the poor and distributing to the needy. What does the Bible say about how it is to properly be done?

Matthew 6:1-4 (KJV)

1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right...

Just in case you thought your good deeds and keeping the ten commandments had anything to do with it. I thought we could clear that up real quick. If your beliefs don’t line up with that Book I will give you one Guess Who Is Wrong.

Galatians 2:16, 21 (KJV)

16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
